"Love is in the air" World's Worst iPod

August 24, 2016

Put on your dancin' shoes, because love is in the air, and it's time to boogie!

John Paul Young (not to be confused with John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin) had a huge hit in the United States with the song "Love Is In The Air." It made it all the way up to #7 on the charts. He probably thought he had it made and was onto a long career as a disco singer. Sadly, the Scottsman who grew up in Australia was a one-hit wonder.

He did get at least one more moment of glory however, singing the song at the closing ceremony of the Olympics in Sydney, Australia, in 2000.

Enjoy this fine video. Warning: some of the camera angles may make you dizzy.
