May 12, 2016

A song that idolizes disc jockeys? Yes, please. Charlie Dore, a singer from England took the song "Pilot of the Airwaves" to #13 on the US charts in 1979.

An 11 year old Jonathan Suttin already knew he wanted to be a DJ, so he loved a song with this lyric: "I've been listening to your show on the radio, and you seem like a friend to me."

Charlie Dore didn't have any other hits, but she does have a website! Check it out here.
