Community Shares of Wisconsin invites you to take part in The Big Share today! On March 3, over 70 local nonprofits aim to raise over half-a-million dollars to shape our community’s future for the better.

You can help make The Big Share a success and ensure a just and sustainable community for all.

So what exactly is The Big Share?:
The Big Share is an online day of giving hosted by Community Shares of Wisconsin for over 70 local nonprofit organizations. The Big Share takes place on March 3 and is a fun, easy way for people to support local organizations working to build a better community for all. It's also a day to celebrate the generosity and innovation that makes our community so great.

Choose your role:
Giving to your favorite local nonprofits is easy. The minimum donation is just $5 and you can give online and on your mobile device. Sharing information about The Big Share on social media will help to spread the word and build the movement.

  • Go to to donate and learn about participating nonprofits.
  • Create your own fundraising page on to encourage donations for your favorite nonprofit.
  • Take part in the kickoff event for The Big Share
    • Monday, March 2, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Palette Bar & Grill at Hotel Sponsored by Madison Gas and Electric in collaboration with Forward Madison FC and Downtown Madison, Inc. this exciting event features a Super Power Hour between 6-7 pm and is a great time to donate online.
