World's Worst iPod: "Kiss You All Over" by Exile

August 17, 2016

The band Exile was extremely popular in the fall of 1978, with their song "Kiss You All Over." The song was all over the radio! It was number 1 for all of October, until it was knocked off by another classic, "Hot Child in the City" by Nick Gilder.

The band actually had quite the long history, recording first as "The Exiles" all the way back in 1963, but shortened the name in the early 1970s. In the 1980s and 1990's they had some hits on the country charts. There's still a version of this band touring---in fact they're playing the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville this weekend.
