Congrats to the MAMA winners!

Another great night on the books!

June 18, 2018

And that's a wrap! Another Madison Area Music Awards ceremony came to a close Sunday night at the Capitol Theater, with lots of our Triple M friends in the local community bringing home awards.

The night was bittersweet in that The Lower 5th won several awards, not long after the passing of Luke Jorgenson. Not only did his band picked as Artist of the Year, the song "Hope" took home honors for Folk Americana song, and the album "Hope" won for best Folk Americana album.

We also want to give a shout out to some of other friends who were winners--past Project M winner Katie Scullin, Jimmy Voegli, Bill Roberts, The Mascot Theory, Beth Kille, Erik Kjelland, Chris Wagoner, Dave Adler, and Michael Massey.

A big woo hoo to former Triple M Morning Show Host John Urban for taking home the Best Photographer award, and congrats to WORT-FM, recognized for supporting local music.

(Find the complete list of winners here).

"Tear It Down, Make It Better" by The Mascot Theory won the award for best video. Directed by my buddy John Urban.
