What did you do on Earth Day?

Radio folks weren't afraid to get their hands dirty with a project at the University of Wisconsin Arboretum. And our colleagues at our sister stations across the country were doing the same! Around 3,000 took part in recycling projects, park cleanups and more.

A bunch of us who work at 105.5 Triple M, 94.9 WOLX and Mix 105.1 spent the afternoon helping take care of some of the Arboretum's many trees. Horticulture technician Keith Phelps put us to work removing fencing which was installed to protect the trees from hungry deer and other animals during the Wisconsin winter. We then removed staking and the fencing to be stored for use again next year.
