2018 Project M Champ Chloe Louise

This week's show featured some brand new music and a preview of next weekend's Brat Fest at Willow Island.

"The Wine Talkin'" by the Cash Box Kings. From their brand new album Hail To the Kings just released on Friday. This song features blues singer Shemekia Copeland!

"On The Road" by the Siegel-Schwall Band. A blues band that formed in Chicago in 1964, with Corky Siegel and Jim Schwall. Schwall lived in Madison for many years and even ran for Madison mayor.

"Devil's Haircut" by Brett Newski and No Tomorrow. Brett says this tune from Beck was the first song he ever heard on a CD, so he decided to cover it.

"When The Lights Go Out" by the Trailer Kings. See them at the Tiki Bar at the East Side Club on Memorial Day.

"Last of The Lucky Ones" by Sunspot. They'll be at Brat Fest Friday night at 7.

"Tennessee Sunshine" by Wheelhouse, recorded live in Studio M. They have a gig at the Club Tavern Friday night and they're at Brat Fest Saturday night at 6.

"House of Cards" by Kerosene Kites. Beth Kille is at Brat Fest at 1pm Saturday and Erik's band The Mascot Theory is there at 4pm the same day.

"Do Me a Favor" by Chloe Louise. Our 2019 Project M champ will be a guest judge Monday night at Funk's Pub as we crown a new champ for our 11th season.

"Don't Call it Love" by Corinne McKnight.  From the album Take My Hand. She's from Madison but is now based in Nashville.

"Prissy Marie" by Late Nite Undertow. From a concept album called The Florida Woman.

"Boneshaker" by Mojo Radio. From a self-titled album.

"Don't It Make You Feel Like Comin' Home" by Mark Croft. From Sympathetic Groove. Mark has a new CD coming out May 31st, with a release party at the Brink Lounge.

"Susan B. Anthony Dollar Rag" by the Junkers. An ode to a seldom used coin. A great band from Madison's past.

"Song For Our Sisters" by Locksley. From Wisconsin Vinyl Collective Vol. 1.
