We love all the original music made by local musicians, but tonight we featured some amazing cover songs!

"You Can't Always Get What You Want" by Luther Allison. Live at the Barrymore Theatre for Triple M's 6th birthday. Recorded by Audio For The Arts. He was diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer the day of the concert, but still managed to knock it out of the park. Luther liked to call Madison his second home.

Listen Live Now on 1055 Triple M

"St. James Infirmary" by the People Brothers Band. From Middle of the In Between.

"Tangled Up In Blue" by Ben Sidran. From Dylan DIfferent. Ben Sidran is a Madison musical legend who played with Steve Miller back in the day.

"For No One" by Free Hot Lunch. Cool Beatles cover. Free Hot Lunch was the original Wa-Ha band who frequented the Club De Wash.

"Helplessly Hoping" by The Emmylous. CSNY cover.

"Willin'" by the Madpolecats. From Skunkgrass, a Little Feat cover.

"Hey Nineteen" by Steely Dane.  An amazing group of musicians who nail the Steely Dan sound.

"Folsom Prison Blues" by Greg Koch. A fantastic guitar player from Milwaukee.

"Jolene" by Shawndell Marks. From Broken Dam. A Dolly Parton cover.

"In God's Country" by Ryan Casey.  Several years ago we invited artists to submit covers of songs from U2's Joshua Tree. Ryan is a music teacher at Stoughton High School.

"This Little Light of Mine" by Whitney Mann. A past Project M contestant who once opened for Loretta Lynn!
