Record Store is a little different in 2020. Isn't everything?

This time, it's being spread out among three different days, to keep crowd sizes down. And stores are limiting the numbers of people that can be inside at once, to maximize social distancing.

Listen Live Now on 1055 Triple M

I took a look at the releases coming out for the Sept. 26th edition of RSD, and there's a little bit of something for everyone.

A lot of vinyl lovers seem to love the eccentric--so how about some French or Brazilian psychedelia? Check. There's a 1977 Grateful Dead live show from Buffalo NY that you'll be able to snap up, and some live Cheap Trick from that same year, recorded at the Whiskey A Go Go in Los Angeles. The Who's blistering Monterey Pop set from 1967 will be out on vinyl as well.

Doors fans will be able to hear what The Soft Parade sounds like stripped down. Ever wonder what makes Judd Apatow's list of favorite Warren Zevon songs? That collection is available on Saturday.

Other artists with releases of note include Brandi Carlile, Roger Waters, The Replacements, The Residents, Son Volt, and Soul Asylum.

And for those of you who've been dreaming of hearing lullabye renditions of songs by the Wu Tang Clan, your prayers have been answered.
