Willie Nelson has his own brand of weed, wrote a song and memoir called "Roll Me Up And Smoke Me When I Die," and has been arrested more than once for pot possession.

But he says he's given up smoking it.

Say what?

The 86-year old tells Houston TV station KSAT that he's abused his lungs quite a bit in the past, "so breathing is a little more difficult these days and I have to be careful.”

He says he's taking better care of himself now and doesn't smoke anymore.

That from the guy who is quoted as saying "Marijuana is like sex: If I don't do it every day I get a headache."

Perhaps music is his new medicine. He says he has no plans to stop touring and says his tour bus is his home. In September, Willie and his musical family and friends shared their music with us at Farm Aid at Alpine Valley. Let's hope he has many more songs to share with us.
