In a recent email to fans, Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor announced that the band’s December 2016 release, Not The Actual Events, was just one in a series of three EPs to be released, reports Rolling Stone.

Reznor then went on to say that not only will the next EP in the trilogy be released before their first summer shows but each EP in the trifecta will be released within 6-8 months from the previous one. Some simple arithmetic leads us to believe that the follow-up to Not The Actual Events should drop by August at the latest, but then again, since their first summer show is Los Angeles’ FYF Fest on July 23, that should be this EP’s deadline.
