Back in 2014, No Doubt’s Tom Dumont, Tony Kanal, and Adrian Young joined forces with AFI’s Davey Havok to create the supergroup Dreamcar, although they kept it a secret until 2015.

Flash forward to present day, and we’ve got the new video for Dreamcar’s debut single, “Kill for Candy.” The video gives you a firsthand look at a day in the life of the band from different members’ perspectives.

“Kill for Candy” has an eighties feel for sure, and while that’s not as surprising from the No Doubt side, it’s definitely a new sound for AFI. The song will be featured on Dreamcar’s self-titled, 12-song album, which is due out May 12.

In the meantime, you can find out a little bit more about Dreamcar below, like which band had the supergroup idea first: AFI or No Doubt?
