Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Austin-based rockers Spoon performed the title track off their forthcoming album, Hot Thoughts. The performance is everything you’d expect and more—check it out below.

Hot Thoughts, which drops next Friday, March 17, follows 2014’s They Want My Soul, and fans have been patiently awaiting next week’s release.

Coinciding with the album release comes yesterday’s announcement from the band that they’re now officially a taco. Wait, what? Okay, they’ve got a taco named after them. But calling Spoon a bunch of tacos is way more fun, right?

Anyway, the band worked with Austin’s East Side legend Veracruz All Natural to come up with a limited-edition Spoon taco called “El Norteño,” available through the end of March. The taco (detailed in the graphic below) sounds amazing, and all proceeds will go toward American Gateways, a nonprofit that provides support to refugees and immigrants in Texas.

Music and tacos: The stuff dreams are made of.
